DAY 2 (BL) CEBU
 

Breakfast at the hotel then get ready for a fun-filled day in some of the most historical and Instagramable spots in all of Cebu. We begin the city tour with a visit The Heritage of Cebu Monument, a compelling tableau of sculptures depicting important segments of the history of Cebu. Afterwards we make our way to the nearby Yap-Sandiego Ancestral House, one of the country’s oldest houses – built in 1675 from wood and coral stones. We then view Magellan’s Cross, an important artifact that signifies the birth of Christianity in the Philippines. Located a few steps away is the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño which houses the country’s oldest Catholic relic… the Santo Niño de Cebu, a gift of Ferdinand Magellan and Father Pedro de Valderrama to the wife of Rajah Humabon of Cebu upon their arrival in the Philippines in 1521. We check out the Cebu Taoist Temple, a multi-tiered temple complex built in 1972 by Cebu's substantial Chinese community, then do a rolling tour of Colon Street, Fuente Osmeña Circle, and the Cebu Provincial Capitol. After a hearty lunch, we head to the highlands and stop by Temple of Leah, a majestic structure that, like India’s great Taj Mahal, is a symbol of undying love. Temple of Leah is Cebuano businessman Teodorico Adarna’s gesture of love to his late wife Leah Albino-Adarna, life partner for 53 years who perished due to lung cancer. The temple is made up of 24 chambers with a lavish lobby where a 10-foot brass statue of Leah sits prominently. Up next is Sirao Flower Garden, an 8,000-square-meter piece of uphill land filled with colorful blooms. Unlike Amsterdam’s famous tulips, the highlight of Sirao is the Celosia flower which fully blooms in October. Sirao features other colorful flora, like Hyacinths and Sunflowers. Here you will also find selfie corners, play houses, fountains, and windmills resembling the fields of Amsterdam. Finally, we check out Top of Cebu or La Vie in the Sky, some of the best restaurants in the area offering delightful dishes and breathtaking vistas. After the tour, drop off at Ayala Center Cebu Mall or SM City Cebu Mall. Overnight Cebu

DAY 3 (B) CEBU-DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the hotel then free time until check out. Transfer to the airport for your flight. Tour ends. Farewell and until we meet again.
