PRIVATE TOUR
Tour code: OPTUSUISL
Duration: 9 hours
Pick up: 8 AM

Highlights: Kayangan Lake, Barracuda Lake, Twin Lagoon, Siete Pecados, Skeleton Wreck, CYC Beach, Lunch

Explore Coron’s amazing islands, mystifying lakes, and divine beaches as a VIP aboard a private speedboat. The speedboat cuts travel time between destinations by more than half, giving you more time to explore, more time to have fun. We make our way to Kayangan Lake, one of the cleanest lakes in the country. To access the lake, we follow a trail through a stairway leading to a cave adjacent to one of the most photographed spots in all of Palawan. We then follow another trail, this time going down to the lake. Once we reach the lake, enjoy swimming and make sure to take photos of this gorgeous water pool framed by limestone formations and patches of greenery. Kayangan Lake is one of the two (out of eight) lakes in Coron that are open to the public. As part of the ancestral domain of the indigenous Tagbanua people, Kayangan Lake is a protected site as a way to honor the spirits which are believed to dwell in this sacred place. We then navigate to Barracuda Lake, a peculiar dive site presenting the curious with a unique opportunity to dive in a harmonious mix of fresh, salt, and brackish water set against a backdrop of imposing jagged limestone walls. Dive into the water and spot Crayfish, Rabbitfish, Garoupa, and Catfish which somehow found their way from the adjacent sea, presumably through cracks on the lake’s wall. If you’re lucky, you may even catch sight of one of the resident Barracuda for which the lake was named after. Barracuda Lake is a sensory experience you will surely enjoy. Afterwards, we make our way to Twin Lagoon, a pair of dazzling blue lagoons set amongst a backdrop of jagged karst walls. The limestone cliffs here have eroded over thousands of years to create these two lagoons separated by the narrow cliff. Here, you can swim or kayak across the northern lagoon to get to the southern lagoon where you will find a rock sticking out of the water, providing a platform to sit or stand on. Surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and clear water, this is Instagramable spot will look amazing on your feed. We continue to Siete Pecados, a group of seven small, rocky islets laying a few hundred meters off of Busuanga Island’s coast. The surrounding coral reefs are healthy and are frequented by reef fishes, Sea turtles, and schools of Barracuda. Afterwards, we navigate to Skeleton Wreck, a 25-meter long Japanese supply ship that was hit by an airstrike by the US Air Force during World War II. Resting at a depth ranging from 5 meters at its shallowest to 22 meters at the deepest, the site is best explored by freediving, scuba diving, as well as snorkeling on the surface. Finally, we visit CYC (Coron Youth Club) Beach where you can spend the rest of the day swimming and snorkeling. Sumptuous picnic lunch will be provided. After the tour, we return to Coron town then transfer back to your hotel.

Coron is one of the most visited destinations for wreck diving in the Philippines due to the abundance of Japanese shipwrecks in the area. In fact, Forbes Traveler Magazine listed Coron as one of Top 10 Best Scuba Diving Sites in the World. The Japanese warships (There were 24 of them!) were sunk by a US Navy strike force of fighters and dive bombers on September 24, 1944. Twelve wrecks have been discovered so far. The shipwrecks are all located in quite shallow waters and are now covered in colorful corals and home to abundant marine life. Explore two of these wrecks and other exciting spots with this day tour that’s sure to delight even non-divers. Accessible even just by snorkeling, Lusong Gunboat Wreck lies at the southern tip of Lusong Island. The shipwreck is covered with Sponges and Soft corals, and is home to schools of Butterflyfish, Angelfish, Pufferfish, and Batfish. The nearby Lusong Coral Garden is a lush coral garden offering crystal clear water and great visibility. We also visit East Tangat Wreck, the remnants of what used to be a 40-meter long gunboat or anti-submarine craft. Covered with Soft corals, Hard corals, Lettuce corals, and frequented by vibrant marine life, East Tangat Wreck will inspire novice divers and underwater photographers. We then navigate to Pass Island, an island paradise with sparkling white sand, surrounded by calm waters perfect for swimming. After enjoying a delightful picnic lunch, we climb to the island’s view deck accessible by five-minute walk. The view deck offers fantastic views of the surrounding sea and islands. Highlights: Big Lagoon, Secret Lagoon, Payong-Payong Beach, Shimizu Island, Seven Commandos Beach, Lunch

Get ready to hit the beach and discover El Nido’s famous lagoons. El Nido Tour A is the most sought-after among all El Nido tours because it takes you to not one but two out of three lagoons located on Miniloc Island. Big Lagoon is one of the most photographed spots in all of El Nido. It features a narrow and shallow entrance channel that leads into an enormous lagoon surrounded by epic limestone cliffs. This spot is best explored with a kayak which is available to rent on site. Secret Lagoon will require a little bit of flexibility because to access it, we duck into a small entrance, a hole, revealing a bizarre, secluded water pool completely surrounded by towering rocks. We also check out Payong-Payong Beach and the nearby Shimizu Island both offering stunning views whether underwater or above water. Check out the amazing limestone rock formations seemingly emerging from the sea then put your snorkeling gear on and go underwater to see the vibrant display of marine life. Shimizu Island is also where, most of the time, the boat stops for a delightful picnic lunch of yummy seafood and fruits in season. Afterwards enjoy sunbathing on soft, powdery white shores or swimming in waters that shimmer in various shades of blue at Seven Commandos Beach. Don’t forget to check out the tree swing and the little bar that serves refreshing drinks and cocktails. After the island hopping tour, we return to El Nido town with plenty of new memories made, ones you will not soon forget.

Make sure to bring swimming clothes, hiking sandals or aqua shoes, beach towel, hat or cap, sunglasses, sunscreen lotion, underwater camera or GoPro, and waterproof bag. This is a private tour and comes with a private boat to ensure your utmost enjoyment. Island hopping itinerary is subject to change depending on weather conditions, rise & fall of tides.

Highlights: Snake Island, Pangulasian Island, Pinagbuyutan Island, Cudugnon Cave, Cathedral Cave, Lunch

El Nido Tour B promises to fascinate with the wide variety of sites and stops offered. Book El Nido Tour B and enjoy white sand beaches, snorkeling, visit an ancient cave, and discover an unusual sandbar in the middle of the sea. We begin with a visit to Vigan Island, commonly referred to as Snake Island for its divine sandbar that winds like a snake. This site is quite unique in the Bacuit archipelago and you will surely enjoy the feeling of walking in the middle of the sea. We then proceed to Pangulasian Island. Also known as the “Island of the Sun,” Pangulasian has breathtaking views of both the sunrise and sunset. The island’s 750-meter stretch of white sand beach is a luxury tropical playground and right at its doorstep is a marine sanctuary which we will explore by snorkeling. Afterwards we navigate to Pinagbuyutan Island, an island made from limestone formed 125 million years ago. The island features a beautiful beach facing Malapacao Island and here, you can relax and enjoy snorkeling. We also visit Cudugnon Cave, an enormous cavern hidden behind an inconspicuous hole in the limestone wall. Once a Neolithic burial site, Cudugnon Cave holds major historical significance. Ancient pottery were once found inside the cave dating back to the Chinese Sung Dynasty of 960 – 1279. This site was also used as a shelter by locals hiding from Japanese forces during World War II. We continue the tour to Cathedral Cave situated at the edge of Pinasil Island. Accessible by a small boat or kayak, Cathedral Cave’s narrow entryway opens up to a majestic main chamber that resembles a cathedral made of limestone and stalactites. When the sun hits at the right time, a shaft of sunlight illuminates the cave like a sanctum. The cave is also known for its bird’s nests, harvested by locals and later made into bird’s nest soup. After the tour, transfer back to El Nido town.

Duration: 9 hours
Pick up: 8 AM

Highlights: Secret Beach, Matinloc Shrine, Tapiutan Island, Hidden Beach, Helicopter Island, Lunch

Journey to beautiful islands, concealed beaches, vibrant snorkeling spots, as well as the bizarre Matinloc Shrine with this day tour that will surely delight. To start off, we visit Secret Beach, a patch of paradise concealed by cliffs and is only accessible through a narrow crevice which we have to swim through. Not a swimmer? Worry not because our friendly tour guides are ready to help. Story goes that it was Secret Beach that inspired author Alex Garland to write his novel “The Beach” when he stayed in El Nido. The novel was later made into a film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and became a cult classic. We continue the tour to Matinloc Shrine. Built in 1982, the Shrine of Our Lady of Matinloc and the nearby building was a dream house anyone could have desired. The site was later abandoned for unknown reasons. Though completely neglected, visitors find the place as a spiritual oasis and admire the superb views specially those high above the limestone cliffs. Afterwards, we navigate to neighboring Tapiutan Island, home to several divine beaches where you can go swimming and snorkeling. We then make our way to another hidden cove on the opposite side of Matinloc Island this time with a bigger beach and even more daunting cliffs. Hidden Beach is a pristine cove of sparkling white sand and crystal clear water, tucked away behind limestone cliffs. It was here where “Survivor Sweden” (Expedition Robinson) filmed for three months. We also visit Helicopter Island, named so because of its shape. While some might argue whether the island looks like a helicopter, a camel, or a submerged dinosaur, many will agree that the island is truly remarkable with its beach fringed with coconut trees, towering cliffs, and breathtaking dive sites including an underwater cave tunnel. Port Barton is a village on the northwest coast of the island of Palawan. It's about 120 kilometers northeast of Puerto Princesa, 23 kilometers northwest of Roxas. Essentially a two-road town where the jungle drops precipitously into the bay, Port Barton offers simple pleasures. It’s the kind of place where, after just a few strolls down the beach, you don’t want to share the tranquility with outsiders. For many people, Port Barton is a quieter, smaller, and more laid-back version of El Nido. Port Barton features islands with divine beaches and lush coral gardens perfect for swimming and snorkeling.

At Sabang Beach, we hop on a bangka (motorized boat) for a 20-minute boat ride passing through magnificent limestone cliffs. A leisurely 15 minutes walk through the forest will lead us to the mouth of the cave. We then traverse the length of the Underground River through a smaller paddle boat. A tour guide or boatman will use a searchlight to point out the cave's stunning stalagmites and stalactites, rock formations, its inhabitants, and even a 20-million-year-old fossil of a sea cow! The river's complex ecosystem has adapted to the underground environments over hundreds of years. An audio tour (recorded spoken commentary) is available in major languages. The Underground River Tour lasts around 45 minutes and once we’re finished, we head back to Sabang Beach for a delightful buffet lunch featuring fabulous local flavors. If you’re an adventurous foodie, you can also try the Tamilok – an exotic delicacy that features woodworm eaten raw with vinegar! After lunch, gear up for a relaxing Mangrove Paddle Boat Tour cruising through networks of swamps while passing through dense mangrove trees. Learn the different species of mangroves, discover their importance in maintaining Palawan’s healthy ecosystem, and perhaps even spot animals like Bayawak (Monitor lizard) and migratory birds hiding in the trees. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel.

Unlock your relaxation goals with this private evening tour that comes with an appetizing Vietnamese dinner. Did you know that the Philippines is known for its humanitarian tradition of providing sanctuary for refugees including Jewish refugees who fled the Holocaust, and Vietnamese “boat people” who escaped their country after the Vietnam War? Thousands of Vietnamese refugees arrived on boats and landed across the archipelago’s western coastline including the island of Palawan from 1975 to 1992. Decades of Vietnamese presence made it possible for Vietnamese restaurants to be a commonplace in the city. Savor a delicious dinner of Chao long (Vietnamese pho with rice noodles, slices of tender meat, bean sprouts and mint leaves) and Filipino banh mi (Baguette sandwich filled with meat). After dinner, we head to Kay's Water World Hot Springs Resort to soak in its healing alkaline waters. Choose between the many pools with varying temperatures and take a dip without forgetting to take a break every 20 minutes or so. Find yourself feeling refreshed and re-energized afterwards. Transfer back to your hotel after the activity.

Puerto Princesa offers more than just its stunning natural spots and captivating beaches; it's also full of amazing cultural and historical locations which shouldn't be missed. Discover the many facets of Puerto Princesa – its people and wonders – with this engaging day tour. We begin with a visit to the Immaculate Conception Cathedral then Plaza Cuartel, a Spanish garrison turned into a penal colony that held hundreds of American soldiers captive during the Japanese Occupation. Then we visit Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm, an extraordinary open-air facility that’s twice the size of Paris where over 3,000 reforming convicts roam around freely and even carry out responsibilities like farming and office work. Afterwards, we proceed to Palawan Museum. Unknown to many, Palawan is home to several indigenous groups. There are the Batak in the northeast, the Tagbanwa in the central and northern parts, the Palaw’an in the south, both in the mountainous interior and the lowlands. Then there’s also the Tau’t Bato or dwellers of the rock of Singnapan Valley. Palawan Museum is a great starting point to know more about Palawan’s tribes as it is the repository of relics and artifacts of an otherwise forgotten era. Included in these artifacts are those which have been unearthed from the Tabon Caves, including a skullcap of the Tabon Man carbon dated back to the early Paleolithic Era about 22,000 years ago. Other remarkable items include the Manunggul Jar (Dated to 890-710 BC), rare sea shells, and many other relics relevant to Palawan's indigenous peoples. Then we bounce to Crocodile Farm for a chance to learn about crocodile breeding and perhaps try crocodile meat. Enjoy a panoramic view of Puerto Princesa on the view deck of Mitra’s Ranch. Then we make our way to Binuatan Creations, a center for handmade crafts and handloom weaves made from Palawan's locally produced, indigenous fibers. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel.
